Description

This attractive Buescher C Melody was manufactured in 1923 and is a rare find. Features a curved neck which is somewhat unique to C Melody instruments, with decorative braces under the neck and bow. The pads are older, but in working condition and all mechanisms are functioning properly. Above the serial number is the stamp for “Low Pitch” which means that this saxophone is pitched to A=440hz, the standard tuning of our era. Features most of its original lacquer which has taken on a dark patina. Comes with its original Buescher case.
