Here is a Conn “Chu Berry” tenor saxophone, circa 1927. The exact instrument model is the Conn New Wonder Series II, but many saxophonists refer to these horns the “Chu Berry” model. This horn has been re-lacquered at some point in its life, and received a full overhaul two years ago when it was purchased from Saxquest. Features “metal star” resonators, and the famous “nail file” G# key. The “Chu Berry” horns are well regarded throughout the pro community for their fantastic, dark tone, and remain popular despite their age. Comes with a Protec XL contoured case that is in great condition.
