Conn “Chu Berry” tenor saxophone circa 1928. The exact instrument model is the Conn New Wonder Series II, but many saxophonists refer to these horns the “Chu Berry” model. This is a re-lacquered horn with rolled tone holes, and the famous “nail file” G# key. This horn has seen a lot of use but has a lot of life left in it if it finds the right owner. While it is currently in playing condition, it may need some pad work in the near future. The Chu Berry horns are highly regarded for their tone quality, and this one is no exception, so this is a great opportunity to obtain a great vintage instrument at a great price!
