Description

Buescher “Elkhart” alto saxophone in great playing condition. Buescher acquired the Elkhart Band Instrument Company (similar to Conn’s purchase of Pan American and Martin’s of Indiana) and retained the name (with the “Built by Buescher” tag) for this line of instruments which were marketed to students. This instrument is similar in design to the Buescher Aristocrat horns. Although these instruments were marketed to students, this horn was manufactured in the 1940’s or 50’s when student instruments were usually just pro horns without the bells and whistles, like fancy engraving. These are great instruments and provide a sweet tone and great value as a vintage horn! Comes with a Reunion Blues carrying case in great condition.
